How to Talk to Your Legislator — And Make Your Voice Heard

You don’t have to be a lobbyist to talk to your legislator. You just need to know how.

Wisconsin rental property owners could face significant legislative challenges during the 2027–2028 session. Decisions made at the State Capitol can directly affect how you own, manage, and operate your rental properties.

In preparation for RPA Capitol Day on February 23, 2027, we’re offering a free Zoom session to help rental property owners communicate effectively with their elected representatives.

    Learn how to:

    • Approach and communicate with your legislators.
    • Explain how proposed legislation affects you and your rental properties.
    • Make your points clearly, confidently, and respectfully.
    • Build relationships with the people making decisions that affect your business.

Presented by RPA Lobbyist and Attorney Kirsten Pezewski.

Whether you’re planning to attend Capitol Day or simply want to be better prepared to communicate with your legislators, this session is for you.

    FREE — Registration Required

A Zoom link will be provided to registered attendees.
